At long last we have found a way to help the people of Gaza, and we now need your help to continue feeding people there. 

As is always the case with Hope and Aid Direct, we will only commit to aid distribution when we have found partners that we are comfortable with, and where we have completed our due diligence.

Our first aid distribution was organised by Team Humanity, a Norwegian organisation. 
We funded food packs that were sourced locally and delivered to Al-Qarara, a camp North of Khan Younis.

We are also in discussions with Muntada aid, who are working with a large NGO who have many staff on the ground providing soup kitchens and water distribution points.

We have worked with both organisations before in Greece, experience and knowledge that counts for a lot when choosing partners in such a tough environment.

Hopefully with your financial donations we can continue to work with one or more partners to continue the distribution of food and water.

Whilst we 100% commit to ensuring that the funds you donate will go to help the people of Gaza and/or The West Bank, it must be stressed that the situation on the ground is both volatile and dangerous.  As such should we need to change who we work with, or what the funds are specifically spent on, we reserve the right to do so.  Food and aid prices can fluctuate dramatically in an environment such as this, we need to be agile to ensure that the beneficiaries get what they need, based on what is available. 

You can be assured though that we will always operate, both in this region and elsewhere in the world, with the view of ensuring that the money you donate is used as wisely as possible, with as many safeguards as possible and to help as many people as possible.

We should not have to see scenes like this in the 21^st century, but all the time we do, with your support we will do our best to help those most in need.
