Trustees

CHARLES STORER MBE

Co-founder, Trustee & Head of Operations

Charles lives in Ingatestone, just five miles from the M25 and Chelmsford, the County Town. Charles, who used to work for NatWest, co-founded and leads the charity from his home and can be contacted there most days. Charles was one of the Hope and Aid Direct volunteers who went to Sri Lanka immediately after the Tsunami. He also went to the Philippines to shepherd the first two of our 6 containers to their destination.

STEVE WALSH

Trustee

Steve lives in Cheshire. He first became involved with Hope and Aid Direct in 2003 and has since travelled with numerous convoys. He was originally appointed as a Trustee in 2008. Steve is employed as Head of Change for a large UK PLC and was previously a soldier serving in many different countries. Steve is always keen to build further support for the charity particularly in the North of the UK

ROGER WILSON

Trustee

Roger has been working with Hope and Aid Direct since 2007. He lived in the Balkans for 6 years and as such was very involved in the logistics and organisation of some of the convoys, particularly the initial trip to Montenegro.  He now lives in Sussex working in digital marketing.  In addition to the trustee role, Roger is in charge of the Hope and Aid website.

    Volunteer

A Volunteer: Will make a real difference to someone's life, maybe even save it. Will find out how far they can push themselves to help others, and be rewarded with immeasurable real life experiences. Will forever be changed simply because they refused to sit by and do nothing while people were suffering. Will learn to work in a team, be resilient and achieve things they never thought possible. Could be you? Get in touch now, you are desperately needed!
