More volunteers are urgently needed especially for all aspects of fund raising. This can take many forms and in the past volunteers have organised events including concerts and sponsored cycle rides. You may have an idea of your own that might be just what is required to help with the funding of items such as fuel, truck hire and purchasing the essential aid that is not donated.

Every one at Hope and Aid Direct is a volunteer, no one takes a salary so all the money raised goes directly into the aid and the cost of getting it to where it's so desperately needed.

The convoys themselves can't be undertaken without more volunteers giving up their time to help collect, sort and load supplies onto the trucks and then drive or accompany drivers on the journey. One of our regular destinations is Kosovo, where thousands of families still rely on this type of humanitarian aid to survive.

As you may have already read elsewhere on this web site, these convoys are usually great fun with all sorts of obstacles to overcome but when you see for yourself the faces of those you have helped, the rewards cannot be quantified here.
