In the past Hope and Aid Direct has enjoyed the support of schools
around the UK. Below are just a few of the ways in which a school
can help.

Harvest festivals
Harvest Festivals
and direct collections have proved a vary popular way for schools to
raise aid and assistance.
Please see our wish
list section to see what sort of food to collect in your harvest
festival.
Please feel free to email us here for any further assistance.
Pen pal exchange
We are keen to
create ties between educational establishments in the UK and
educational establishments in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
This encourages understanding and hopefully will lead to some direct
assistance.
Please note that
this an introductory service and we do not take part in any letter
deliveries.
For
further details please email us here.
Student
visits
Older students that
have studied the region and who have raised funds or aid for the
convoy are welcome to join us on our aid convoys.
Please note that
students will be flown to and from our destination rather than
actually joining the convoy.

further details please email us here
After speaking to one of our team members your next step is downloading our handbook to see how you can help one of the UK's foremost humanitarian aid charities help the people of the former Balkan states. You'll need a password to do this, which you'll get from the contact you speak to.
When you have read the handbook you will be able to decide if you want to join us on a convoy or be part of the home based team, fundraising or publicising our work in your town, amongst family, friends and colleagues and collecting aid. We can provide you with publicity material.
