The dentist chair was picked up on a last minute dash up to Billericay in Essex by Charles and Doreen Lewry. We had spotted the chair on the internet and after some negotiations with its owner, Alf a recently retired dentist, we rushed up to collect it the day before the convoy was due to leave.
Alf had looked at our website and was so impressed with the work we were doing that he offered us this very valuable item free of charge. The chair was destined for the Priluzje Health House in the Serbian enclave of Priluzje between Pristina and Mitrovice.
Ivana, shown in the photo, is soon to qualify as a dentist and is hoping to start a Dental Practice at the Priluzje Health House (small cottage hospital).
From our experience in Kosovo, dentistry seems to be almost non-existent and these donations will help to make the life of many Kosovans a whole lot better and less painful.

With this chair as a basis and a large amount of dental equipment from a dentist Noel Stimson in the Isle of Wight, Ivana's dream was about to become a reality.
